埃克塞特大学（University of Exeter）取得了振奋人心的发展---排名，就业率得到了提升，并与清华大学进行合作。
作为 埃克塞特大学所取得的一系列振奋人心的发展之一，该校副校长近期来到了中国。他受邀至中国是由于今年埃克塞特大学被Times Higher授予了“2008年度大学”这一全英最佳大学的荣誉称号。
由于埃克塞特大学已与清华大学在机械工程，商务以及金融专业建立了合作关系，该校副校长还到访了北京。除此之外，鉴于埃克塞特大学的法律专业有着很好的声誉，该校还与中国政法大学建立了伙伴关系。
作为在全英排名首位的运动科学院的前任院长，副校长先生与一些享有声誉的体育院校商讨了合作关系的建立，并见证了奥运会前夕所取得的令人欣喜的发展。埃克塞特大学将可能协办2012年奥运会的一些赛事。
该校代表团也为埃克塞特大学在排名上的提升做了宣传，现在该校在《泰晤士报》所评选的排名中位于第13位。另外，埃克塞特大学为一些优秀的中国学生提供了5000英镑的奖学金。

The Vice President of the University of Exeter was recently visiting China as part of a series of exciting developments for the University of Exeter. The Vice President was invited to China as this year, the University was given the prestigious award of best UK university - "University of the Year 2008" by The Times Higher.
The Vice President visited Beijing as the University of Exeter is developing a partnership with Tsinghua University for Engineering and Business and Finance. In addition, it is partnering with China University of Political Science and Law as the University of Exeter also has a very strong reputation for Law.
The Vice President was formerly Dean of the School of Sports Science, which is Ranked Number 1 in the UK (NSS 2007). He met with some prestigious Sports universities to discuss partnerships and see the exciting developments ahead of the Olympics. The University of Exeter is likely to host some activities in the Olympics in 2012.
The delegates were also promoting the rise in rankings of the University of Exeter, which is now ranked 13 in the UK by The Times. It also offers scholarships for 5000 pounds to the best Chinese students.
Finally, the senior team were exploring opportunities for setting up employment opportunities for it's Chinese graduates. The university understands that even with a degree from a top UK university, Chinese graduates need help getting a good and highly-paid job when they return to China.
