澳大利亚移民局网站的技术认可一项中清楚的写到NAATI是申请翻译作为职业的技术移民申请者的技术评估部门。

尽管如此，关于口译的职业的说明却是这样写到：“Vetassess是申请口译为职业的技术移民申请者的官方认可技术评估部门。”

NAATI如果看到这条消息一定会非常的惊讶，因为他们才是技术职业列表中(SOL)清楚的被列出是口译职业的技术评估部门。

Don’t tell NAATI

The  skills recognition section of the DIAC website  correctly states that NAATI is the skills assessing authority for people applying for skilled migration as translators. .However in respect of the occupation of interpreter the following appears;
“Vetassess is the authority in Australia responsible for assessing this occupation for the purposes of skilled migration.”

This will come as a surprise to NAATI which is listed  as the skills assessing authority for this occupation  on the Skilled Occupations List and which is the correct skills assessing authority for interpreters.
