1.当too后面接anxious, eager, ready等一类形容词时，“too… to…”结构表肯定意义 ：

  I am too anxious to know the test result. 我太想知道考试结果了！

2.当too前面有用于加强语气的only, all, but等词时，“too… to…”结构表肯定意义。
　I am only too glad to meet you.    见到你真是太高兴了。
　You know but too well to hold your tongue.  你深知保持沉默的妙处。

3.当too前面有not或never时，“too… to…”结构表肯定意义：（有人认为这是双重否定表示肯定）
　One is never too old to learn.
　It is not/never too late to mend.
