禺人哼歌之八--一盏车灯(One Headlight)

By Wallflowers. Wallflowers于一九八九年成立于洛杉矶，其主唱歌手Jacob Dylan是前著名歌星Bob Dylan的小儿子，但他不愿利用父亲的功名，因而在很多专访中他避而不谈家事，这使很多舆论机构很不高兴，导致Wallflowers曾一度没有唱片公司的合同，而大部份乐队成员也相继离去。在曲折中Jacob写过很多歌，不少在后来的唱片"Bring down the horse"中轰动。他把组队的曲折经历比作降服一匹烈马。"One Headlight"反映主人公对已故女友的思念，歌中很多隐喻，感谢TT(www.umn.edu/~zhux0045)的帮助，我才得以对歌词有较准确的解释。几乎每次唱到"We can drive it home"时，我都会有一点悲哀的冲动。此曲要反复听才会真正喜欢。 (Download MP3, 4.8M)
